I would recommend this paper holder to any one looking for the special Victorian look or any other special look. It fit perfectly with the look in my bathroom, the chrome was of the highest quality the overall size was just perfect for the location. I loved the ability to be able to move it back out of the way when not needed. The shape of the paper holder itself was just perfect. It is easy to load the paper and pull the paper off. It's just perfect.

I have two problems with this item. First, there is a plastic base on the unit. It is not all metal, as it appears in the picture. That was disappointing and I would have returned it for that reason alone. In addition, the plastic base has a defect in it. There is a bubble on the bottom that prevents it from laying flat so the unit rocks back and forth easily. I am returning it and will choose something else.
